Even though the next marathon race is approaching and I have to practice, I cannot get into the right mood. Nevertheless, I managed to contain my mood swing and went outside. If I did not feel well, it would be okay to turn back.
I gradually warmed up after I started running. Surprisingly, I found myself enjoying running. I wondered why I was nervous. It was good to take one step forward.
You might think that I really like running or I am very determined after all. However, I have never run on weekdays and I usually look for a reason to avoid running.
Having said that, I should keep in mind that it is not easy to understand other people’s negative feelings. It is not just running, many people generally struggle with motivation to take one step forward, so I will try to be empathetic to people who are in the same position or even feel more anxious than me.
