Sri Lanka recently defaulted. One of the causes has been attributed to the Chinese debt trap. Anyway, I travelled to the Baltic States in 2012 and enjoyed the bus journey as there were no direct international trains. In that 2012, the Baltic states were included in the Belt and Road initiative, but this month they left the initiative. That makes sense because these three countries are not in Asia but in Europe.
