I like to gaze at streets from cafes. It is getting darker earlier with the arrival of a busy December, and people are walking faster through the streets. And now, I am looking outside from the first floor of the cafe at the people coming and going in the square and front of the station.
I would guess that some people have finished their shopping and they are in a hurry to get home, and others are happily heading to a restaurant. Also, in addition, it looks like some people are waiting for someone. In this way, I enjoy putting together my own imaginary stories about them, while catching a glimpse of local life.
Now, I am in a warm room inside the cafe, watching the outside world through the glass window as if I was watching TV. Eventually, I will leave the cafe, and I will become one of those people on the street.
